Strawberry-Kiwi Pie
PASTRY
1 9-inch TENDERFLAKE All Vegetable Shortening Frozen Pie Shell
FILLING
1 pkg.[125g] light cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sifted icing sugar (50ml)
2 tbsp light sour cream (25ml)
1 tsp vanilla (5ml)
GARNISH
2-kiwi fruit,peeled and thinly sliced
3 cups medium-sized, whole strawberries, hulled (750ml)
1/3 cup red current jelly, melted (75ml)
DIRECTIONS: Prepare pie shell according to package directions for a BAKED PIE SHELL. Beat together filling ingredients until smooth. Turn into cooled, baked pie shell. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Just before serving, arrange kiwi slices over filling. Place strawberries on top, stem side down. Spoon jelly evenly over berries. Chill 15 minutes. If desired, serve garnished with whipped Light Tasting NUTRIWHIP Whip Topping and sliced strawberries.
